Chapter 1: The Tribes of Victory.

Today seems like any other day. Both sides seemed to be preparing for something. I guess you could say that nobody was ever together in the land. After 50,000 years of war between the two kingdoms, you would expect them to form some sort of super alliance? No. The Goddess was really stubborn. She was always trying to get herself farther and farther into the Sun Kingdom territory. And for the longest time, I used to let her press her luck. I had my army at the command with Infernal by my side. That was until someone else stepped up too. It was my friend, Yaku. He was always willing to take any hits for me. I never knew what was going to happen to him after all the wars that we’ve had with the Moon Tribe before. But, enough about the people. Let’s take a look from each side. Starting with the Sun Kingdom. The Sun Kingdom was lead by a harsh ruler before me. His name isn’t to be spoken because of all the pain that he’s caused since he was leader. Infernal knew all about him, but Yaku and I didn’t. We were too young. A surprising fact about Me and my friend Yaku, is we were both friends with Nyx. Her mother was friends with our parents. We never really got a chance to associate together because we were from different sides. There was so much going on at the time that I just didn’t worry about how our people were at war. That might have been the reason why my parents never liked me talking to her. Now, let’s move on to the Moon Tribe. The Moon Tribe’s area is quite peaceful. Lots of water people, lots of healing springs and friendly people. Much different from the people on the Sun Kingdom. You might think that everyone belonged together. You’d be right in a sense that everyone was peaceful to eachother, but when it came to rulings from the Goddess, nobody took her seriously. It wasn’t until she had backup from others that people took her seriously. When she was leading, and I snuck into the Moon Tribe. I helped her lead her Tribe even as an enemy, and she never said a word. It was until the friend of Nyx who ratted me out, and then I had to flee. I was surprised I wasn’t killed by her in the first place. Why did I help her? Well, let’s just say things were…good. But, I didn’t want to have anything happen (just like it would in those stupid cheesy love stories.) Now that you know my secret, there’s other things that I should tell you, but, we’ll wait until the next part….I awoke to people staring at me blankly as if I was supposed to do something. When I looked up, I realized that something was not right…..The Moon Tribe was attacking…..It was not a dream. But when I went outside, Infernal and Yaku were both gone… They were taken prisoner from Nyx’s lieutenant…I got ready to call out my army to storm the gates of the Moon Tribe. This time, she crossed my boundaries too far, and she was going to pay for it. And, for that, I was taking one of her friends… I arrived at the gates and the first thing I saw was a girl practicing ice on my friends. I didn’t know her name, but she was right next to Nyx, so I had to hide. The bad thing that was happening, was she called out for guards, and Nyx ran towards me. Now, we were face to face……TO BE CONTINUED!

Chapter 2: Reunion with the Moon.

There we were. Nyx and I together. Some reason I didn’t feel too bad. The guards were all around me. They had no chance to kill me, but I decided to humor myself. Nyx looked ashamed that I was here. She new exactly why I was here. She looked at me and smirked one of those evil smirks. She beckoned the ice girl over to me. I had flaring red eyes when she got to me. I almost lost it. I decided to hold it in. If Nyx knew that I was the Sun God now, she’d surely attempt to kill me. I calmly let a breath out and asked who the ice girl was that called me out. How she even knew I was from the Sun Kingdom, I wouldn’t even know. Only Nyx knew I was a Sun Warrior. She didn’t even say anything to the guards. Maybe she was keeping me safe? Nah. I bet she was using me as bait since I tried to save my friends. I knew what it was time to do. I began slowly heating my body up in flames. The guards started charging towards me. I started crackling in fire. “COME GET SOME!” I called out. Nyx, on the other hand, called the guards off. She was acting strange. She ordered for my friends to be released, and for us to leave the city. I shook my head. “No. I want to get a tour of this city. As a “moon warrior” I said with a snicker. She smiled and nodded. For a while, we were walking around the town. We disguised the two friends of mine and we got to see what was going on. Except when we got to the Northern Moon Temple, she decided to have us turn around. Something wasn’t right about her. I decided not to question since she wasn’t trying to kill me. I walked over to the other side and pulled Nyx aside.

“We have to chat, why aren’t your guards attacking me, why aren’t you getting people to kill me? You know I am from ‘the other side’ what’s your plan?” I asked in a high raised tone. I started frantically panicking. I saw guards coming towards me. Things were starting to get heated. I forgot one thing that would give me away. I have the Sun Kingdom Emblem imprinted into my armor. The guards noticed it right off the spot.

“GET HIM!” The voice screeched. It was a female’s voice. I didn’t know who it was. Probably one of Nyx’s royal guardswomen. I started running, along with Infernal and Yaku. We reached the walls of the city when the guards starting shooting ice beams. I knew that it was time to release my weapons. I bursted into flames and sent two shots of molten magma back at them. They were melting and within seconds, all the guards were dead. There were several holes into the ground. I learned a valuable lesson when it came to infiltrating the Moon Tribe’s area. Don’t.

Once we reached the entrance to the Eastern Kingdom gates of the Sun Plateau, I went to the royal chambers to strategize the next attack on the Moon Tribe. This time, I was going to stay out of it. We were going to weaken them and then strike when we had a chance. Yaku turned to me, and held something in his hand. The second that I saw it, we both smirked. It was Nyx’s Moon Tear amulet. This might be useful. “Where did you find this!?” I asked. He snickered but didn’t say a word. I figured I’d ask him later. My War General was coming into the room. “At arms, Soldier.” I said. He turned and saluted. “What’s the word on the army for the invasion?” I asked.

“Well, Freyr…” he mumbled. I looked at him with distaste. “The army is ready, and we need your command to attack the Southern Moon Castle. If all goes as planned, we can draw the Princess out of the Southern Castle, and capture her as a prisoner.” He said. I had to hear that again in my head. The last few words kept buzzing around. “We can draw her out and capture her as a prisoner.”

“I don’t want to play too dirty, especially since I know Nyx has just as much power as I do.” I said. “But, you have my word to release the army and take Infernal with you. He will lead the army report back when the damage is done.” I handed him a telecommunication device that allowed him to reach me at any time. Time seemed to be going on forever when finally it was 3:15 am the next morning. The alarm screamed into the castle. It was time to go. The army of fire warriors got into line. I grabbed Infernal, and told him something. “If all goes well, you will be promoted to the royal guard. Along with Yaku. Do NOT mess this up for me.” He nodded and got everyone into line. A few minutes later, the army was crossing the border between The Sun Kingdom and crossing into the Moon Tribe area. They took the southern route so they could infiltrate the castle. But, when they got there, there was more than they figured. The Moon Tribe was conjuring water warriors, and up on the top of the castle, was the person that we were getting ready to capture. Nyx was way over in the northern area. There was no way she could reach us in time. They stormed the entrance and started fighting the conjured water warriors. The Princess heard clanging and bashing outside and tried to flee when Infernal locked her into a fire prison that was clinging her and burning her hotter and hotter. She started to get weaker and weaker when she collapsed to the ground. Infernal ran towards her to get her when a very tall muscular man was standing right above her.

“And who might you be?” Asked Infernal.

“My name is Nightfury…and this is where you die….” TO BE CONTINUED!

Chapter 3: Close, But Not Too Far!

I saw a man from the Sun Kingdom side. He had a huge army and had his eyes on the princess. I knew what he was doing… “Who are you?” He called out in a loud booming voice. I just laughed and sent more of my watery humanoid creations at him. They weren’t as strong as the sun warriors. I turned to my right to see the Princess running away. But she got caught in some sort of fiery box. I ran towards the fiery box, and pulled her out. I sent a shadowy bolt towards the Sun General. Or what seemed to be the General. They all seemed to look the same. I saw him reach into his pocket and pulled out some sort of a watch looking thing. I knew that it was a telecommunication device. I quickly shadow pathed a  way to him and stole it and teleported back to where I was.. he was freaking out really badly. I started having the upper hand. I called out five waves of water warriors. They were starting to get rid of the Sun Guards. It was time to start working on their leader. “Before I get rid of you once and for all, Sun Man, what is your name?” I asked giggling.  He didn’t like that.

“My name, is none of your concern. However, the life of your Princess, is.” He said. He trapped the Princess and ran off back to the castle. It was useless. I had to report this back to the Goddess. I used a shadowy teleporter to get back to the Northern Temple of the Moon.

“Nyx, we have terrible news. And…where is your amulet?” I asked her. She didn’t even seem phased. “Hun, we need to talk.” I said finally trying to get down to business.

“Do not ever call me that again. What did you have to tell me? I am really busy. I heard from the townsfolk that the Sun warriors are pillaging our town and ruining our crops and burning our buildings down.” She said sobbing slightly. I tried to comfort her. But, she didn’t seem to want it.

“Well, we have other issues on our plate, too.  Your Princess from the Southern Moon Castle has been kidnapped by someone from the Sun Kingdom.” I said. I knew it wasn’t probably the best time to do that. But, she needs to know what happened. “On the upside, I did retrieve something form the General. I pulled out the device that he used to communicate with the Sun God. “We should see if we can make a trade with the Sun God. Maybe we can get the Princess back.”

She looked happy. But, it wasn’t the good kind. She grabbed the device and went into the room.. “Don’t disturb me.” She said.  “Alrighty, Freyr, I know that you got my Princess from the Southern Moon Castle. We need to meet face to face again and see if we can come to an agreement. I need her back, and if you don’t, you will suffer the wrath of our Moon Tribe Royal Army.”

“I am sorry, my dearest love. Nyx. I can not do that. She doesn’t want to come back to your home. She has fallen in love with one of my Army Lieutenants. I’m sorry, you’ve lost. There’s no way. Oh, and if you’re looking for your amulet, good luck finding it. My Royal guard Yaku took it right from under you. We’re going to defile it, and make it the Sun Pendant. Add that together with my Sun ring, and I will be UNSTOPPABLE!” The word echoed throughout the device. She shut it off and threw it on the ground.  Nyx went out into the royal courtyard and called out for her army leader. I stood right in front of her. I was ready to serve.

“Nightfury, get about 25,000 Moon Water warriors to go and attack the Central Sun Palace. This might be a death march, but they need to know that I am being serious. If Freyr combines the amulet with the Sun ring, he will literally be unstoppable. WE NEED TO STOP HIM!”

A little bit later, it was time for them to return the favor. The Central Palace was just a few miles away, when all of the sudden, I started feeling woozy, and collapsed on the ground, unconscious……..TO BE CONTINUED!!

Chapter 4: BETRAYAL(Or maybe not?)
The soldiers started crowding me. I pushed them out of the way. It was a really strange thing that had happened. I got ready to plan the attack. I pulled a map out of my pocket and looked for the easiest way in. Something about this place gave me the chills. I had a bad feeling knowing that at any time, the leader of this fortress would kill me. “Ready your weapons, men! We’re going in!” I yelled loudly. The entire army charged into the Sun Palace. We were met with about 150,000 Sun guards. We were easily outmatched. My men were dying so easily. Something about these warriors was not right. I realized that the Sun Warrior’s weapons were ignited with fiery molten heat. They were cheating, but we had no way to fight them off. My men were dying so quickly… 10, 50, 2,000.. Finally, they were coming for me. I conjured up a shadow hole and most of them fell in. The abyss had fallen, and they were suffocating in a closed space. “Hah!” I laughed. But when I looked up, Freyr and his two generals were both looking me right in the eye. I knew this was the end. “What do you want with me, Freyr?” I asked in a harsh tone. He just cackled to himself.

“I want nothing from you. However, my generals might have use for you. You might have been exiled, but, I have a job for you. And you have one of two options. You know what they are. So choose wisely” he said.

“Let me guess. You want me to corrupt the amulet so that you can be the most powerful being and eliminate the Moon Tribe. And if I don’t, then you’ll kill me for doing treason over a treason already.” I said sarcastically. Freyr, on the other hand, was not looking too excited. I wanted nothing more than to kill him now, and be promoted to the God of the Shadows. But, I knew that it wasn’t going to happen. I decided to do something that I had never done before. How to do it, however was going to be the hard part. I charged into the God’s chambers and ran towards the amulet and ring. It was either time to die now, or never. I was only able to grab one. It was the amulet for Nyx. Oh well. This might get me closer to her anyways. I ran towards the exit when Freyr was blocking all exits with molten shields. Something about this wasn’t right. Then it hit me. Freyr was the one who eliminated the Shadow Masters. It was him who had erased my kind. But, for some reason, I was not mad at him. I wanted to be sided with him. With him and I together, we could kill anyone in our path. I walked towards Freyr.

“WHAT DO YOU WANT, MOON TRIBE SCUM!?” He yelled.

“You are the Sun God, Freyr. You were the one who killed my relatives. The Shadow Masters. I want to side with you.” I said muttering quietly since I knew he could kill me at anytime. He blinked and dropped the molten shields from the doors and windows, and grabbed me by the throat.

“YOU WILL NOT ADRESS THIS IN OPEN CHAT.” His voice boomed. I was really frightened. I didn’t know what to say to that. I kneeled in front of him and requested to talk to him in private behind closed doors. He agreed. A few minutes later, we were in the God’s chamber. I saw two Overlord Sun leaders. One was familiar who tried to kill the princess. I had to drop my anger for him, even though I really wanted to kill him. The other, was Infernal. He and I were in a long conversation about eachother. That, I don’t feel like addressing.

We finally got to the chambers private area, and I sat down. Freyr sat on the other side of the golden plated table, and crossed his arms.

“You have something to say?” He said sighing loudly as if he had something to do. No sooner did I open my mouth to say something, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something that I couldn’t believe… It was the head of the Shadow God….My father……..TO BE CONTINUED!

Chapter 5: The Message of Truth? (Or more Betrayal!?)

I started snickering to myself. He was finally beginning to piece the picture together. I turned towards him and offered him something. It was Nyx's amulet. He looked at me questioningly. “Go ahead, take it back to your...'precious leader'” I said. He grabbed it and was getting up to leave. “But, I do have a message for her. Don't let anyone but her read it. Otherwise, something bad will happen. She'll understand.” He nodded. “Alright, it's time for you to leave. The exit is right through this door, and down the hall. You need to look ashamed, so they don't think I let you off scott-free. Just follow me, and we'll be out of this in no time. If you take this for granted however, I will kill you.” I said.

“You got it, Freyr.” he said. I conjured up fire shackles, and tied them to the back of his hands. We started walking out of the chamber, and past the royal guards. They looked happy at me. I 'captured' one of the high end Moon Tribe prisoners. I took a sudden right turn, and went into one of the prison rooms. Closed the door, and destroyed the shackles. The room filled up with steam.

“Alright, I am going to let you go. Do NOT ever infiltrate my homeland ever again. Do we understand eachother?” I asked. He nodded. “Now, I just need to make a distraction so you can leave without getting spotted. Maybe you can help?” I asked in a slightly high voice. That was my first mistake. A few seconds later, the royal guards were coming in. “I was just putting the prisoner in the cell so that he'd be unable to escape!” I said. The guards nodded and went back to their duty. I sighed a sigh of relief. That, was definitely a close call.

“Alright, I got the perfect plan. Let me use some of my shadow powers to distract them.” Nightfury said. I looked confused. He did have the ability to cloak himself in the shadows, right? I kept wondering about that fact.

“Hey, you do have the ability to cloak yourself in the shadows, right?” I asked. He was startled that I knew that he had that ability. I smirked again. He thought I was going to kill him. Little did he know, that I knew the origin of the Shadow warriors. It was time for the distraction. I was getting tired of having him in my presence. He cloaked himself and jumped out the window. He was running out of the gates when something happened. From the far distant corner, I saw someone that I recognized. The Princess of the Moon. She was coming to rescue him all this time?! I should've known! I let my guard down, and now the Moon Tribe has their artifact back... This was not going to go un-punished.

“READY YOUR WEAPONS, WE'VE BEEN DOUBLE CROSSED!” I yelled throughout the loudspeakers. “NORTH WALL, NORTH. WALL!” I called out. No sooner, there was an army outside the North Wall, chasing Nightfury and the Princess out of the castle. I wanted nothing more than to eliminate them now... I went back to my private chambers to go and think about what had happened.. When I got there, there was something on my desk. A letter....from the Moon Tribe. It was signed from Nyx.... “Oh god, we got company!”.............TO BE CONTINUED!
